Ingredients

6 each chocolate wafers
1 1/2 cups cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat 1%)
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
1/4 cup amaretto liquer
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 each egg
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons milk chocolate morsels
1 x chocolate curls optional

Directions

Sprinkle chocolate wafer crumbs in bottom of a 7-inch springform pan.

Set aside.

Position knife blade in food processor bowl.

Add cream cheese and the next 7 ingredients ,processing until smooth.

Add egg and process just until blended .

Fold in chocolate morsels.

Slowly pour mixture over crumbs in pan.

Bake at 300F for 65 to 70 minutes or until the cheesecake is set.

Let cool in pan on a wire rack.

Cover and chill at least 8 hrs.

Remove sides of pan ,and transfer cheesecake to a serving platter .

Garnish with chocolate curls if desired .
