10 minPart milkshake, part ice cream float, all refreshment. This Chocoberry Splash blends cold milk, frozen strawberries, and chocolate syrup into a smooth, fruity base, then gets poured over ice and topped with a fizzy splash of club soda and a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
It’s the kind of drink that makes you feel like you’re sitting at a retro soda fountain counter.
Variations
- Fresh Strawberry Splash: Swap the frozen berries for ¼ cup sweetened fresh strawberries
- Peach Splash: Use canned peach slices or half a fresh peach for a summery twist
- Pineapple Splash: Try 2 slices of canned pineapple or ¼ cup crushed pineapple for a tropical vibe
- Raspberry Splash: Sub in 3 tablespoons thawed frozen raspberries with their syrup for a tart, jewel-toned version
Kitchen Tips
- Blend the base until completely smooth before pouring over ice; any chunks will clog your straw
- Add the club soda last and stir gently so it stays fizzy
- Serve immediately; this drink doesn’t wait around gracefully
