Chinese Steamed Fish

Ingredients

1pound red snapper fillets
1/2teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon black pepper ground
1tablespoon ginger fresh, grated
1tablespoon soy sauce
2teaspoons sesame oil
2each mushrooms, shitake thinly sliced
1each tomato quartered
1/2each red chili pepper fresh, seeded, chopped
2each cilantro sprigs, finely chopped

Directions

Bring about 1 1/2 inches of water to boil in a steamer fitted with a basket large enough for the snapper to lie flat. Season snapper with salt and pepper, and place in the steamer basket. Top fish with ginger, and drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil. Place shiitake mushrooms, tomato, and red chile pepper in the steamer basket.

Steam fish 15 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. Sprinkle with cilantro.

Bisquick Dumplings

Thanks! love the recipe! I make it with a english dish from my Mom. Mince and Dumplings.. saute Ground beef,onions,garlic,Drain, add beef broth(need extra cause the dump. soak up a lot) add carrots (or any veg)cook till carrots aren't hard then thicken broth w/a little corn starch and water) make dumplings on top.Sprinkle w/ Parsley.. Brown the dumplings in oven. :)Sometimes I add a little red wine too and Mushrooms.
