| 1/2 | cup | green spanish style olives | |
| 1 | pound | ground turkey | or ground turkey sausage |
| 1 | large | onion | chopped |
| 1 | each | jalapeno pepper | fresh, stemmed, seeded, minced |
| 1 | tablespoon | vegetable oil | |
| 3 | tablespoons | chili powder | |
| 7 | ounces | green chili peppers | diced |
| 28 | ounces | tomatoes, canned | |
| 30 | ounces | kidney beans | |
| 1/8 | teaspoon | cloves | ground |
| Toppings | |||
| 1 | x | corn chips | |
| 1 | x | cheddar cheese | shredded |
| 1 | x | cilantro | chopped |
| 1 | each | limes | cut into wedges |
| 1 | x | yogurt | unflavored |
Slice olives; set aside.
In a 4-5 quart pan over high heat, combine turkey, onion, jalapeno, and oil.
Stir often until meat is crumbly and brown, about 20 minutes.
Stir in chili powder, green chilies, tomatoes (break up with a spoon) and juices, beans and liquid, cloves, and olives.
Simmer uncovered, to blend flavors, about 15 minutes.
Serve in bowls; offer toppings to add to taste.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how delicious cookies are. Despite the moistness and chewiest, cookies are not as popular anymore....
This is absolutely delicious! Instead of using oil/bread crumbs, I used italian seasoned bread crumbs and melted salted butter. The butter gave it a nice flavor. Just be careful as you know butter burns fast. This was really a hit!
