Ingredients

6 each chicken breasts medium
8 ounces swiss cheese slices
8 ounces ham cooked
3 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
1 teaspoon paprika
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 cup white wine dry
1 each chicken boullion cubes or 1 teaspoon chickenflavor stock base
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup heavy whipping cream

Directions

1. Spread chicken breasts flat: fold cheese and ham slices to fit toothpicks.

2. On waxed paper, mix flour and paprika: use mixture to coat 3. In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter or margarine, Add wine and bouillon ( or stock ).

Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until fork tender; remove the toothpicks.

4. In cup, blend cornstarch and cream until smooth; gradually stir Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened; serve over chicken

Chicken a la Nancy

This is one of our favorites. I add more lemon. It's sooo good! I looked online to find it because I misplaced my "Award winning recipes" cookbook in the move. I use vinegar instead of wine (about half the amount) because we don't stock wine.
