| 1 | pound | turkey | ground, or chicken |
| 1 | cup | seasoned dry bread crumbs | |
| 1/4 | cup | parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated | grated |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 2 | tablespoons | parsley leaves | fresh, chopped |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | basil | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | black pepper | |
| 2 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | jar | sauce | for chicken cacciatore |
| 1 | x | spaghetti cooked | hot |
In a large bowl, thoroughly combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, parsley, basil, salt and pepper.
Form into 1 1/2 inch meatballs. In a large skillet, thoroughly brown meatballs on all sides in vegetable oil; drain fat.
Add sauce. Simmer, covered, 20 to 25 minutes or until meatballs are thoroughly cooked.
Serve over hot, cooked spaghetti.
