| 12 | each | chicken | wings, large, wing tips removed |
| 3 | tablespoons | olive oil | |
| 3 | tablespoons | lemon juice | |
| 1 | each | garlic | clove, crushed |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | tarragon | dried |
| 1 | each | bay leaf | |
| 1 | x | salt | and pepper, to taste |
| 2 | tablespoons | butter |
In a large bowl combine oil, lemon juice, garlic, tarragon, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Coat wings with mixture, cover, and refrigerate overnight. Place chicken wings in baking dish and dot with butter. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 minutes. Turn chicken wings and cook 15 to 20 minutes more until chicken is golden.
Plain or curried rice would be a good side dish. Makes 4 servings.

Very good! I live in Canada and my favourite place to go for onion bagels was Tim Horton's, but unfortunately most locations don't make them any more. These are just as good, if not better, because they have a Montreal-style bagel quality about them. I will be making them again!!
