| 1 | package | white cake mix | |
| 16 | ounce | cream cheese | softened |
| 4 | cups | powdered sugar | |
| 1 | pint | heavy whipping cream | whipped |
| 42 | ounce | cherry pie filling |
Prepare cake mix according to pkg directions.
Pour into two greased 13x9x2 inch baking pans.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool.
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy; fold in the whipped cream.
Spread over each cake. Top with pie filling.
