Cheesy Pork Chops
Submitted by mowesha
Pan-browned pork chops baked in a luscious cream cheese and Parmesan sauce until fork-tender. Rich, savory, and surprisingly simple, this is a one-dish dinner that never disappoints.

60 minThese pork chops come out of the oven so tender you can cut them with a fork.
First, they get a quick sear in seasoned flour for a golden crust.
Then comes the good stuff: a velvety sauce made from cream cheese, milk, garlic salt, and Parmesan that smothers every chop in pure cheesy richness.
Bake it low and slow until the pork is meltingly tender and the sauce is thick and bubbly.
Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles to catch every last drop of that sauce.
Kitchen Tips
- Don’t skip browning the chops first. That seared crust adds flavor and helps them hold their shape during baking
- Soften the cream cheese before mixing it with the milk for a smooth, lump-free sauce
- Use bone-in chops for extra flavor and juiciness. They hold up better during the long bake
- Spoon the sauce over the chops halfway through baking so the tops don’t dry out
