Layers of creamy mashed avocado, tangy sour cream with taco seasoning, beans, fresh tomatoes, and melty cheddar make this no-cook chalupa dip a Tex-Mex party hit in just 10 minutes flat.

Y’all, this layered chalupa dip is the kind of thing that disappears before halftime.

Mashed avocado on the bottom, a zesty sour cream and taco seasoning layer in the middle, then beans, chopped tomatoes, scallions, and a blanket of sharp cheddar on top.

No oven, no stove, no excuses. Ten minutes and a bag of tortilla chips is all you need.

Chef Tips

  • Drain those chopped tomatoes well. Excess liquid will make your layers slide and get soggy.
  • Build this in a clear dish so guests can see all those gorgeous stacked layers.
  • Make it ahead and refrigerate up to 4 hours. Add the avocado layer last (or squeeze extra lemon over it) to keep it green.
