Ingredients

1 pound beef, sirloin steak ground
1 pound porterhouse steak
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 medium onions chopped
2 each leeks sliced
6 tablespoons garlic minced
1 can tomato sauce
1 can chicken broth
2 cans water
4 each celery stalks
1 each green bell pepper
1 each sweet red bell pepper
10 large mushrooms
1 1/3 tablespoons oregano
1 tablespoon thyme
2/3 tablespoon white pepper
2 tablespoons cilantro dried
4 tablespoons parsley leaves dried
1 tablespoon sugar
2 each bay leaves

Directions

Brown meat.

Simmer with the stockpot cover OFF for 6 or more hours.

Of course, you can use sooner. I like it to cook down and thicken.

Either way it is very good.

Add rest of ingredients and simmer.
