Ingredients

1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup carob powder
1 3/4 cups barley flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon sea salt optional
1/2 cup nuts chopped

Directions

Mix first four ingredients together until smooth.

Stir dry ingredients together.

Combine mixtures.

Drop dough from a teaspoon onto oiled baking sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart.

Bake 8-12 minutes at 375 degrees F.

Cool on sheets.
