| 1 1/4 | cups | whole wheat flour | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/3 | cup | butter | or oil |
| 1/3 | cup | honey | |
| 1 | each | egg | beaten |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1 | cup | carob chips | |
| 1 | cup | nuts | chopped |
Mix honey, egg and vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
Add the carob chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
If they spread out too much when baking refrigerate the dough before placing on cookie sheet.
