A quick blender cappuccino that works both cold and hot, made with just five ingredients you probably already have in the pantry.

Skim milk keeps this light while the instant coffee dissolves right into the blend without brewing a full pot. The rum (or brandy) extract adds a warm, boozy undertone without any actual alcohol, and a dash of cinnamon on top rounds out the cafe flavor.

Blend until the coffee granules fully dissolve. If you spot specks, give it another 15 seconds. For the hot version, pour into a microwave-safe mug and heat in short bursts, stirring between each, so the milk doesn’t scald.
