| 2 1/2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 3/4 | cup | brown sugar, dark | |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar | white |
| 1/2 | cup | margarine | |
| 3 | each | egg whites | large |
| 2 | tablespoons | honey | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1 | teaspoon | almond extract | |
| 1 | cup | butterscotch chips | |
| 1 | cup | chocolate (semi-sweet) | semi-sweet chips |
Preheat oven to 300.
Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt and set aside.
In a large bowl, blend brown and white sugars.
Add margarine and mix with electric mixer.
In a small bowl, beat egg whites until fluffy.
Add egg whites, honey, vanilla and almond extracts to sugar mixture.
Beat until smooth.
Scrape down sides of bowl. Add flour mixture, butterscotch, and chocolate chips and mix on low speed just until combined.
Do not overmix.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake 18-20 minutes until lightly browned.
Transfer to cool flat surface.
