Two scoops of vanilla ice cream get blended with Kahlua (or your favorite coffee liqueur) and creme de cacao until thick and creamy.
The coffee liqueur brings a roasty bitterness, the creme de cacao adds a smooth chocolate sweetness, and the ice cream ties it all together into something dangerously drinkable.
Three ingredients. No shaker required. Just a blender and a couple of glasses.
Pro Tips
- Soften the ice cream for a few minutes before blending. Rock-hard ice cream will leave chunks and burn out your blender motor.
- Use a high-quality vanilla ice cream here. With only three ingredients, every one of them matters.
- Serve immediately. This melts fast and loses its thick, frosty texture if it sits around.
