10 minNo avocados in the house? No problem. Broccoli stems are about to surprise you.
Cooked broccoli stems get blended smooth with lemon juice, cumin, and garlic powder to create a creamy, green base that mimics the texture of guacamole.
Diced tomatoes, sliced scallions, and chopped green chilies get stirred in by hand for freshness and crunch.
Chill it before serving and the flavors meld into something that’s genuinely good, not just “good for you."
Kitchen Tips
- Use only the stems, not the florets. The stems blend into a smoother, creamier consistency
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. The flavors need time to come together
- Serve with baked tortilla chips or raw vegetable sticks to keep things oil-free
Ingredients
Directions
