Five-ingredient no-bake-style brownies with graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, butterscotch morsels, walnuts, and sweetened condensed milk. Mix, press, bake. That’s it.

Brenda’s Brownies are barely a recipe at all. Five ingredients, one bowl, zero fuss.
Graham cracker crumbs form the base, then chocolate chips, butterscotch morsels, and chopped walnuts get bound together with a can of sweetened condensed milk.
Press it all into a pan and bake until the edges go golden and chewy while the center stays fudgy and gooey.
They land somewhere between a brownie and a magic bar, and they’re the kind of thing you bring to a bake sale and come home with an empty plate.
Pro Tips
- Grease the pan generously. The sweetened condensed milk is sticky and will fight you if you skip this step.
- Let them cool the full 45 minutes before cutting. They firm up as they cool and will crumble apart if you rush it.
- Swap the walnuts for pecans or macadamia nuts if that’s what you’ve got.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature. They actually get chewier and better on day two.
