Ingredients

2 large eggs well beaten
4 tablespoons sour milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup bran
1 cup flour, all-purpose
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup raisins, seedless chopped

Directions

Sift flour, measure, and sift with salt, baking soda, and cinnamon.

Add bran.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat thoroughly.

Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk.

Add raisins. Mix thoroughly.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well-oiled baking sheet.

Bake in moderate oven about 20 minutes.
