| 4 | each | chicken breasts | |
| 4 | ounces | soy sauce | |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | garlic powder | |
| 1 | teaspoon | ginger | ground |
| 2 | tablespoons | onion, dried flakes | |
| 3/8 | cups | bourbon whiskey |
Mix all marinade ingredients and pour over chicken.
Marinate overnight.
Bake at 325, basting frequently for 1 1/2 hours or until well browned.
If you double the recipe make sure that the chicken is in a single layer.

When individuals contemplate what to make for their Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner, there's 1/2s usually more indecision regarding the side dishes. After all, the Thanksgiving turkey is perfunctory and Christmas will inevitably......
This recipe is easy and delicious!! We made a few changes: used thin chicken breasts (or you can pound them flat), add grated ginger, less soy sauce, substitute honey for the suger and chili oil for the cayenne pepper. We ate it with veggie fried rice (made in the same wok for easy cleanup). Yum!
