I made this when it was on the Uncle Ben's box, it went over well, lost the recipe, got it from the Cooking Echo (that's how it got here!), used it for Parish Suppers (lost it a couple more times, found it here each time), and will cook it for 24 people on Friday. It's first-class and easy as well.

When you think of Christmas, you think of a lot of different special moments. Moments like decorating the Christmas tree, singing carols, putting up Christmas lights and even baking cookies. ...
This recipe is excellent!! Your sister has good taste. I know recipes are passed along all the time without knowing the origin, however I do know where this one originated. This recipe comes from Betty Crocker cookbook copyright 1969. My son now 28 and I made this recipe all the time while he was growing up. A wonderful recipe to do with children.
