Bloody bug juice is a fizzy Halloween punch made with mashed strawberries, lemonade, and ginger ale. Raisins and blueberries float to the top like creepy crawly bugs. Kids go wild for it!

Want to hear kids shriek with glee at your Halloween party? Hand them a glass of this.

Mashed strawberries turn the whole drink a gruesome blood-red, while fizzy ginger ale and tart lemonade keep it refreshing. Drop raisins and blueberries into each glass and watch the carbonation carry them to the surface like bugs crawling through the “blood."

It takes 10 minutes, zero cooking, and the gross-out factor is absolutely through the roof. Every sip has a chewy little surprise floating in it.

Pro Tips

  • Chill all ingredients beforehand so the ginger ale stays fizzy longer
  • Add the ginger ale right before serving so the bubbles are at full strength for maximum bug-floating action
  • Freeze blueberries into ice cubes for an extra creepy look as they slowly emerge
  • Serve in clear glasses so everyone can watch the bugs rise
