| 1/2 | cup | butter | softened |
| 2/3 | cup | brown sugar | lightly packed |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 1/4 | cups | granola | cereal |
| 1/2 | cup | coconut | flaked |
| 1/2 | cup | maraschino cherries | chopped |
| 1/4 | cup | nuts | chopped |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | orange zest | grated, optional |
| 1 | package | milk chocolate chips |
Cream butter with sugar and add egg until light.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool.
