| 2 | cups | butter | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | cups | sugar | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 2 | cups | brown sugar | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking soda | |
| 4 | large | eggs | |
| 24 | ounces | chocolate (semi-sweet) | semi-sweet chips |
| 2 | teaspoons | vanilla extract | |
| 8 | ounces | chocolate bars | hershey, grated |
| 4 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 3 | cups | nuts | optional |
| 5 | cups | oatmeal | blended |
Cream butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda.
Add chocolate chips, hershey bar and nuts.
Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
Makes 112 cookies.
