Beef with Hot Sauce

Ingredients

3 pounds beef chuck roast
1/2 cup onion chopped
1/2 cup celery chopped
1/2 cup green bell peppers chopped
1 x water
1 1/2 cups ketchup
3 tablespoons red hot pepper sauce (eg. Tabasco) taco
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
1 each bay leaf
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder
8 each hamburger buns

Directions

Place meat, onion, celery and green pepper in Dutch oven; cover with water.

Cover tightly and cook slowly 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until tender.

Remove meat; cool, shred and return to cooking liquid.

Add catsup, taco sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, bay leaf, salt, mustard and chili powder.

Cook slowly 1 hour. Remove bay leaf; serve on buns.

Multigrain Blueberry and Ginger Muffins

I also made these multigrain muffins, and they were very nice, I love use all kinds of grains, whole wheat flour and cornmeal, they do add the nutty flavor and good for health too. Next time I will sift the flour and baking soda, powder, then after baking the muffins shape should be more evenly.
