| 1/2 | pound | beef, sirloin steak | cut into thin strips |
| 2 | each | broccoli florets | large stalks |
| 1/2 | C. | carrots | cut into strips, parboiled for 2 minutes |
| 3 | tablespoons | vegetable oil | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | each | onion | large, cut into strips |
| 2 | tablespoons | soy sauce | or more to suit taste |
| 1 | C. | water | |
| 2 | x | noodles | servings |
Heat oil in large skillet.
Add beef strips and stir-fry for 5 to 8 minutes or until just done.
Add onion and parboiled carrots; continue to cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add broccoli and water.
Return to heat and cook approximately 6 minutes longer, just until broccoli is tender.
Remove from heat.
Mix in soy sauce to taste.
Serve over oriental noodles which have been cooked according to package directions.
Fresh or frozen cauliflower may be added with the broccoli.

Oven baked zucchini sticks, I like these oven fried zucchini sticks, after baking, these sticks were golden brown and crispy, and much less oil than deep fried. Good change.
