Ingredients

2 pounds beef round steak in serving size pieces
2 tablespoons vegetable shortening
2 slices bacon crumbled
6 small white onion
6 each new potatoes peeled
2 cans mushrooms with liquid, 3 oz each
1/2 cup white wine dry
1 tablespoon parsley leaves minced
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 each bay leaf

Directions

Heat pressure cooker.

Add shortening; brown steak.

Add remaining ingredients.

Close cover securely.

Place pressure regulator on vent pipe.

Cook for 15 minutes.

Let pressure drop of its own accord.

Remove bay leaf.

Thicken gravy, if desired.
