Ingredients

1 pound pinto beans dried
1/4 pound salt pork diced
1 pound beef chuck steak cut into 1 inch cubes
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 each garlic cloves minced
6 ounces tomato paste
1 cup water
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 x salt
1 teaspoon cumin ground

Directions

Completely soften beans.

In skillet, brown salt pork and cubed chuck steak over medium-heat, drain well.

Add to Crock-Pot with soaked pinto beans.

Add remaining ingredients, stir well.

Cover and cook on High for 2 hours, then on Low for 7 to 12 hours or cook entire time on High for 5 to 8 hours.

Ravioli Bundles of Roasted Beets

OMG, I just finished eating this. Simply outstanding. It's a bit of work but well worth the effort. The way the earthy beet taste mixes with the cheese and shallots backed up by the roasted garlic sauces. Wow.
