| 4 | each | corn cobs | husks on |
| 4 | each | bacon | lean rashers, halved |
| 250 | grams | butter | softened salted |
| 2 | cloves | garlic | crushed |
| 1 | bunch | chives | chopped |
Preheat a barbecue plate on high.
Peel husks back off corn and remove as much silk as possible.
Wrap bacon around corn and push husks over bacon to enclose.
Secure tightly by wrapping the top of corn cob with foil.
Cook on barbecue, turning often for 10 minutes.
Cool slightly before peeling back husks.
Mix butter, garlic and chives and serve corn with a dollop of butter.
