| 8 | cups | cake flour | |
| 6 | cups | sugar | granulated |
| 1/4 | cup | baking powder | |
| 2 | teaspoons | salt | |
| 3 | large | eggs |
Combine ingredients together.
Add any other ingredients (like chocolate chips, fruit etc) to form a batter.
Pour into a cake pan and bake until done.
Invert, and cool.

Excellent; a keeper. If using sweet apples 1 1/3 cup sugar is ample, otherwise 2 if using tart.
