| 1 | loaf | sourdough bread | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar | |
| 4 | each | bananas | halved cross and lengthwise |
| 4 | large | eggs | |
| 1 | cup | cream, half and half | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract |
Cut a pocket in each slice bread; divide the banana's and stuff in the bread. Whisk together the eggs and half and half. Saturate each side of bread slices. Grill bread slices in oil or butter on both sides, until golden. Combine the sugar, cinnamon and vanilla, sprinkle over the top of the the French Toast.

I doubled this recipe and made it into more of a brownie-style recipe than a cheesecake, and it got rave reviews! I make a traditional fudge sauce to go over it (composed of marshmellows, evaporated milk, sugar, and milk chocolate chips). It's a rather plan looking dessert, so you may want to add some type of garnish, but the taste is so rich and luxurious that you don't want to pass this one up!
