Ingredients

Cake
1 package cake mix, yellow with pudding
1 cup bananas mashed, ripe
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon orange zest grated
2 large eggs
Topping
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pecans chopped
2 tablespoons orange juice or water

Directions

Flour 9 x 13 pan.

In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed.

Pour batter into greased and floured pan.

Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Meanwhile, melt margarine in small saucepan; stir in remaining topping ingredients.

Spread over hot cake; broil 2 to 3 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

Cool completely.

Awesome Breakfast Casserole

I found the first act to be engaging---taut characterizations, excellent dialogue. Unfortunately, the second act struggled to recapture the engergy of the first....What? Oh! Sorry. The breakfast casserole is great! Good entry, Mickey!
