Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just incorporated, do not over mix.
Pour the batter in the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 1¼ hours or until a wooden stick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Turn the bread out of the pan and cool completely on the wire rack. Serve. The bread slices can be frozen well.

I love that this is a healthier banana bread...you'd never guess that from the lovely slices :)
Thanks, Liz! This loaf of banana bread is very healthy, but it doesn't taste healthy at all, it's packed with flavor. Great for breakfast or snack.
DId you mean a 9 x 3" loaf pan or a 13 x 9" baking pan?
Thanks for your comment. I meant 9 x3-inch loaf pan. Just edited the recipe. Happy Baking :)
how many cups of batter did you put to fill in the 9x6 size? thanks!
Says 4 egg whites yet all photos show only 2 full eggs? Makes no sense!
it says sugar and there is brown sugar in the picture so which is it ?
Usually when a picture says sugar it is white. If it calls for brown it says .brown. btw I used white
