Bologna rolled around a cheddar cheese stick and tucked into a hot dog bun with mayo or mustard. A no-cook lunch that kids can make themselves in minutes. Great for lunchboxes and after-school snacks.

Sometimes the best recipes are the ones a five-year-old can handle.

Spread a hot dog bun with mayo or mustard, roll a slice of bologna around a cheese stick, and stuff it in the bun. Done.

No oven, no stovetop, no mess. Just a fun little sandwich that kids go absolutely wild for.

Toss it in a lunchbox or hand it over as an after-school snack and watch it disappear.

Variations

  • Use string cheese instead of cheddar sticks for a stretchier, more fun-to-eat version.
  • Swap turkey bologna for regular if you want a leaner option.
  • Add a leaf of lettuce and a slice of pickle for a grown-up twist.
