Ingredients

8 ounces pasta, ziti cooked conventionally
1 x tomato sauce
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Directions

1. In a deep, 2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole combine ziti, tomato sauce and 1/3 cup shredded cheese.

2. Sprinkle remainder of cheese on top of casserole and heat- uncovered, in Microwave Oven 5 to 8 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly.

Mexican Shepard Pie

The only thing that would make this better is an extra something to enhance the Mexican flavor--maybe more salsa, more spice? Otherwise very good and the family liked it and it makes for good leftovers.
