All the sticky, chocolatey joy of campfire s’mores without having to leave your kitchen or find a stick.

Golden sugar cookie dough gets pressed into a pan, layered with sections of milk chocolate bars and a thick blanket of marshmallow creme, then topped with more cookie dough and baked until everything melts together into a gooey, pull-apart slab of pure happiness.

Cut them into squares once they cool and try not to eat the whole pan standing at the counter.

Pro Tips

  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting or you’ll end up with a glorious but messy chocolate-marshmallow avalanche.
  • Press the bottom layer of dough firmly and evenly so it holds up under all that gooey filling.
  • Drop the top layer of dough in small spoonfuls and spread gently. It doesn’t have to be perfect since it’ll even out as it bakes.
