| 2 | pound | shrimp | large, peeled |
| 1 | cup | butter, unsalted | |
| 1 | x | salt | to taste |
| 1 | x | garlic | minced |
| 1/2 | cup | parsley leaves | flat-leafed, washed well, spun dry, and chopped fine |
| 2 | tablespoons | lemon zest | freshly grated |
| 1 | x | lemon juice | fresh, to taste |

| 1 | x | lemon | wedges |
Preheat oven to 450°F.
In a flameproof baking dish large enough to hold shrimp in one layer melt butter with salt over moderately low heat.
Stir in garlic and half of parsley.
Add shrimp and bake 5 minutes.
Turn shrimp and sprinkle with remaining parsley, zest, and lemon juice.
Bake shrimp until just cooked through, 5 to 10 minutes more.
Serve shrimp with rice and lemon wedges.

General:Caraway Seed is actually the fruit of a biennial herb in the parsley family, known as Carum carvi. The seed is about 1/5-inch long and tapered at the ends. The hard seed shells have five pale ridges....
My husband loved this recipe. However I thought it could be just as good if not better with half the amoun t of butter.
