Ingredients

6 ounces vegetable oil
1 1/2 pounds onions coarsely chopped
1 1/4 pounds potatoes diced
1 pound carrots diced
1 pound celery sliced
1 can cheese sauce, cheddar with bacon
2 cups beer
1 quart chicken broth
1 1/4 pounds mixed vegetables
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
2 tablespoons parsley leaves chopped

Directions

1. Place vegetable oil in large stockpot. Add onios, potatoes, carrots and celery; sauté 25-30 minutes or until vegetables are cooked.

2. Add remaining ingredients.

Combine thoroughly. Simmer 20 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot.
