| 1/2 | cup | sugar | |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 1 3/4 | cups | whole wheat flour | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
| 1/2 | cup | nuts | chopped |
| 1 | cup | raisins, seedless | |
| 1 | cup | honey | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | cups | oats, quick cooking | |
| 1/2 | cup | apple | finely chopped |
In large mixing bowl, cream shortening and honey until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Stir in vanilla. In medium bowl, stir together flour, soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
Add dry ingredients to honey mixture, beating until smooth.
Bake at 350 until cookies golden brown.
