| 1 | deep | pie shell (9 inch) | deep dish, frozen |
| 4 | large | eggs | |
| 1 1/4 | cups | cheddar cheese | shredded |
| 12 | bacon | bacon slices | cooked and chopped |
| 1/2 | pint | cream | |
| 1 | teaspoon | nutmeg | |
| 1 | pinch | salt | |
| 1 | pinch | sugar | |
| 1 | pinch | black pepper | |
| 2 | cups | mushrooms | and water chestnuts |
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Beat eggs.
Add cream, nutmeg, vegetables and pinches.
Put chopped bacon on bottom of pie shell.
Spread cheese.
Pour liquid over cheese.
Bake for 12 minutes at 450 degrees F and then 35 minutes at 325 degrees F.
