These apricots canapes are a little sweet and sour, very tasty, especially with the blue cheese, mix very well.

Ingredients

16 each apricots, dried
8 teaspoons blue cheese crumbled
2 ounces pistachio nuts chopped shelled
1/2 teaspoon honey
1 x black pepper freshly ground

Directions

Top each apricots with 1/2 teaspoon cheese.

Sprinkle with pistachios and drizzle with honey; sprinkle with pepper.

Black Walnut Pound Cake

I ground the nuts and my grandchildren, who won't touch nuts, ate most of the cake. Very moist and flavorful, and I did not use icing.
