This simple dressing brings dried apricots and walnuts together with celery and bread cubes for a stuffing that balances sweet and savory.

The apricots get a quick simmer in water or stock to plump them up before tossing with the other ingredients.

Bake it covered until heated through, then uncover for the last 10 minutes to create a golden, crispy top while the inside stays moist.

Kitchen Tips

  • Use day-old or dried bread cubes for better texture and absorption
  • Turkey stock adds deeper flavor than water if you have it on hand
  • This dressing works equally well with chicken or pork roasts
