This barely sweet, fruity rye tastes good with scrambled eggs or in a turkey sandwich. For tea sandwiches, slice thin and spread with cream cheese and toasted sliced almonds.

Ingredients

2 1/4 teaspoons yeast, active dry
1 7/8 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups rye flour
1/3 cup cracked wheat (bulgur)
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon caraway seeds
2 each garlic cloves crushed
1 medium onion chopped
1 large apple chopped
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup water

Directions

Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order. Set "baking control" at 10 o'clock. Select "white bread" and push Start.

In hot & humid weather, use 1/8 c less water.

Lamb Curry with Yogurt

Yummy. Loved the creamy taste and consistency. Wouldn't hurt to add some more spice, either via chili powder or more green chilis ground in. Also, more than 2 cloves of garlic would be fine, too. Eli Hamlin
