Ingredients

1/2cup vegetable oil
1cup honey
2large eggs
1/2cup water
2 1/2cups whole wheat flour
2teaspoons baking powder
1/2teaspoon sea salt (optional)
1teaspoon allspice
1teaspoon nutmeg
1teaspoon cinnamon
2large apples grated (with peel)
1teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2-1cup sunflower seeds (or chopped nuts)

Directions

Beat honey, oil, eggs and water. Mix dry ingredients and add to honey mixture. Fold in apples, vanilla and nuts. Fill oiled tins 2/3 full. Bake at 400 F. 12 to 15 minutes.
