Ingredients

1 pound ground beef, lean
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 each apple cored and chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 each onion medium-sized, chopped
1 slices bread, white up to 2 slices

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients except bread. Soak bread in cold water, squeeze out moisture, shred, and add. Place in loaf pan and bake 25-30 minutes.

Or form into patties, roll in bread crumbs and pan fry, or broil.
