| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | tablespoons | margarine | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar | |
| 1/4 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 1/2 | cup | milk | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | cups | apples | thinly sliced |
Blend brown sugar, 2 tbs flour, margerine and cinnamon in bowl, set aside.
Combine sugar,shortening and egg beating throughly.
Stir in milk.
Mix 1 1/2 c flour,baking powder and salt.
Stir into egg mixture just until smooth.
Spread 1/2 the batter in a greased 9 inch square pan.
Cover with 1/2 the apples; top with 1/2 of the brown sugar mixture.
Repeat layers.
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 45-50 min.

Wonderful is the only word to describe this cheesecake. My family loved it. In fact, I am right now in the process of making my second one for Thanksgiving.
