| 1/2 | cup | butter | softened |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | packed |
| 1/2 | cup | apple butter | |
| 1 | each | egg | |
| 2/3 | cup | flour, unbleached all-purpose | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | cup | oats | |
| 1 | cup | coconut | flaked |
Cream butter and sugar; blend in apple butter and egg.
Stir flour with soda, baking powder and salt; stir into creamed mixture.
Stir in oats and coconut.
Spread in greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. about 20 minutes. If desired, sift powdered sugar over top while still warm; cool.
Cut into bars.
