Ingredients

1 medium apple peeled, cored
1 each egg
1 slice bread cut in pieces
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon water
4 teaspoons sugar
1 dash cinnamon

Directions

Grate apple and set aside.

Combine all ingredients except apple, in blender.

Blend until mixture is smooth. Fold in grated apple; mix well.

Drop by tablespoons onto a hot non-stick skillet, or pour out 1 enormous fritter.

Cook on both sides to a golden brown.
