| 48 | each | great northern beans | jar, drained |
| 4 | tablespoons | butter | or margarine |
| 3 | cups | apples | tart cooking, peeled, cubed |
| 1/2 | cup | onion | chopped |
| 3/4 | cup | brown sugar, light | |
| 1/2 | cup | ketchup | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | or to taste |
Melt butter in a large skillet. Add apples and onions. Cook for 10 minutes or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Blend in ketchup, cinnamon and salt. Place beans in 2 quart casserole. Pour apple mixture over beans and mix well.
Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 1 hour.
