40 minThis is the kind of warm punch that fills your house with the smell of cinnamon and makes everyone ask what’s in the pot.
Apple cider simmers with whole spices tucked into a tea ball, while fresh orange and lemon juice add bright citrus notes.
A touch of sugar and nutmeg round everything out into liquid comfort.
Serve it hot in mugs for fall parties or cold-weather gatherings.
Kitchen Tips
- Use whole spices instead of ground for cleaner flavor that won’t make the punch cloudy
- A tea ball or cheesecloth bag makes it easy to fish out the spices before serving
- Simmer gently rather than boiling to keep the flavors mellow and prevent bitterness
- Make this ahead and keep it warm in a slow cooker set to low for easy entertaining
